At It's A BarkLife, we believe dogs are so much more than pets – they're family. That's why we created a dog walking and pet care service that provides the same love, care and attention we'd want for our own dogs.

Based in Colchester and Tendring, we proudly support dogs and their owners across the surrounding areas, offering professional, reliable and personalised care to suit every dog's individual needs.

Our love for dogs and the outdoors inspired us to turn our passion into a business. We understand how challenging it can be to balance work, family and everyday life while making sure your dog gets the exercise, enrichment and companionship they deserve. Our aim is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your dog is happy, safe and well cared for while you're away.

As dog owners ourselves, we know every dog has their own personality and needs. Between us, we have four wonderful dogs – two Fox Red Labradors, a Cocker Spaniel and a Cockapoo – so we have plenty of hands-on experience with energetic, fun-loving companions who thrive on exercise, adventure and affection.

Having relied on support with our own dogs over the years, we understand how important it is to find someone you can trust. That's why every dog we care for is treated as if they were one of our own, with kindness, patience, respect and lots of love.

Our experienced team is fully insured, DBS checked, canine first aid trained and committed to maintaining the highest standards of care. Whether your dog joins us for one of our popular group play sessions, enjoys a solo walk, or simply needs a home visit, their wellbeing and happiness will always be our priority.
